Does supplication change destiny?

Does the Zakat al-Fitr set by the endowments at one dinar and eighty qirsh differ from the Fitr charity for the car we use, for example? I am confused, meaning that the charity of one dinar and eighty qirsh is obligatory for everyone, and it differs from the charity of the things owned by a person. What is the difference between them?
