A person who performed tayammum found water but did not perform ablution
What is the ruling on someone who performed tayammum and then found water, washed each limb twice or thrice, but missed one of his legs, for example?
Answer
I say, with Allah's guidance: His tayammum is invalidated according to the chosen opinion; because if he had sufficed with washing once, it would have been enough. See: Al-Hadiyah Al-Alaiyah, p. 38, and Sharh Al-Ziyadat, Q3/A, and Allah knows best.
