Assisting a Patient from Non-Mahram
Is it permissible for me to help my husband in caring for his sick uncle, by assisting him in lifting him from the bed and supporting him in walking; because he lives in our house, and my husband is his only relative?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible for him to assist him if there is a need for that, and he will have great reward for it, provided that it does not lead to fitnah (temptation or discord). And God knows best.
