Bringing Water to the Depths of the Beard
What is the ruling for someone who has washed but did not bring water to the depths of his beard?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not sufficient for him, and he must ensure that water reaches all parts of the beard, including its roots, and he should also wash any parts that hang down; there is no harm in this. Washing his beard is sufficient for him, and he does not need to repeat the wash. See: Sharh Al-Wiqayah, pp. 91-92, and God knows best.
