Dust of Sweeping in Tayammum
If a woman sweeps her house, and dust rises and touches her face and arms, and she wipes them with the intention of tayammum, is that permissible for her?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible, and it is authentic regarding tayammum; because dust is part of the soil, and it is of the same kind as the earth, so tayammum with it is allowed, as long as the dust covers the face and hands, and the intention for tayammum is made, for indeed intention is a condition and coverage is a pillar in it.
