Dust of the Measure for Wheat in Tayammum
If a man measured wheat and dust rose, affecting his face and arms, and he wiped them with the intention of tayammum, is that permissible for him?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is authentic regarding tayammum; because dust is part of soil, and it is of the same kind as earth, so it is permissible to perform tayammum with it. Refer to: Fath Bab al-'Inayah 1: 115-116, and Sharh al-Wiqayah p. 107, and God knows best.
