If a man demolished a wall, and dust rose and covered his face and arms, and he wiped with the intention of performing tayammum
If a man demolished a wall, and dust rose and covered his face and arms, and he wiped with the intention of performing tayammum, is that permissible for him?
Answer
Yes, it is permissible, and tayammum is valid; because dust is a part of the earth, and it is of the same kind as the earth, so it is permissible to perform tayammum with it, as long as the dust covers the face and hands, and he intended tayammum, since intention is a condition and coverage is an essential part of it.
