Question
What is the ruling on the personal benefit of a student of knowledge or others from electronic books or electronic cards that explain scientific materials, which are sold in the markets at a price determined by the author or educational institution, knowing that this student did not pay for the card or the book, but obtained it indirectly, thus acquiring photocopied copies of the book or recorded videos through decryption programs or similar?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If he uses it for scientific benefit and not for trade, it is permissible, and God knows best.
