I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to pray on it; because the earth is purified by the sun and the wind, but it is not permissible to perform tayammum with it; due to the requirement of purity as stated in the Quran: {So perform tayammum with pure earth} [An-Nisa: 43]; and because the dust is pure and purifying, and after drying out from impurity, it returns to being pure but not purifying.
