Ruling on a Mother Giving Her Zakat to Her Son
Is it permissible for a mother to give her zakat to her son to meet his needs, knowing that he is still a student?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Zakat is not valid for children and parents, so it is not permissible for a mother to give it to her son, and God knows best.
