Ruling on Blood During Pregnancy
I am pregnant at the beginning of the second month, and the pregnancy is weak. The doctor said that I will miscarry, and now I am experiencing bleeding heavier than my menstrual period. Should I pray or what should I do? Knowing that the pregnancy is very weak and I am passing blood and clots?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: Any blood during pregnancy is considered istihada (irregular bleeding), and the woman can pray and fast and it is permissible for her husband, and Allah knows best.
