Ruling on forgetting the Witr prayer until after Fajr
I prayed Fajr and remembered that I did not pray Witr, should I suffice with making up the Witr or must I also make up the Fajr?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If one remembers after the Fajr prayer, then he performs the Witr without repeating the Fajr. If he remembers during the Fajr prayer, then it is invalidated and he must perform the Witr, then pray Fajr. And God knows best.
