Ruling on Giving Zakat to a Poor Person to Complete His Marriage
A poor man wants to complete his marriage; is it permissible to give him zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If he does not own the nisab of zakat, which is 100 grams, it is permissible for him to take zakat, and God knows best.
