Question
A lady whose husband listens to poetry that contains some songs, and she tells him that it is forbidden, but he does not listen. Does she incur sin if she listens with him under compulsion?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: If the singing does not call to immorality, alcohol, or desires, it is permissible to listen to it as long as it is not accompanied by music. And if one hears it without the intention of listening, they do not incur sin. And Allah knows best.
