Spending the Expiation of an Oath for Someone Who Does Not Have a Recipient for It

Question
A person gave me the value of the expiation of oaths, and I am not supporting anyone. Is it permissible for me to spend it on myself only?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is necessary to pay the expiation for the oath for ten people, either in reality or in ruling. The meaning of 'in ruling' is that it is given to a poor person for ten days. In your case, it can be a deposit with you, and every day you take from it the amount allocated for a poor person, which is two dinars, and this is for ten days. And God knows best.
