The Droppings of the Falcon

Question
What is the ruling on the droppings of the falcon?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Its residual water is disliked as a matter of purity, and the reason for this dislike is that it mixes with dead animals and impurities, resembling the water of a free-range chicken. Even if one is certain that there is no impurity on its beak, its residual water is still disliked. We do not consider its residual water impure by analogy to predatory animals; because its purity is established by preference. It drinks with its beak, which is a pure bone, while predatory animals drink with their tongues, which are wet with their saliva, and saliva is generated from flesh and is impure. Refer to: Maraqi al-Falah 32, Al-Sayah 1: 465, and Radd al-Muhtar 1: 149, and God knows best.
