Question
What is the ruling on the water of the well in which a pig has fallen?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If a pig falls into a well, it becomes impure, and all the water of the well must be drained, even if the pig is taken out alive, and even if the water does not touch its mouth; because the pig is impure in essence. See: Al-Maraqi, p. 36, and God knows best.
