The Place of Qada for the One Who Missed a Rak'ah
If someone misses a rak'ah with the imam, should he wait until the imam finishes the prayer and then stand up to make up the rak'ah? And should he perform the prostration of forgetfulness since he sat for the tashahhud three times?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The prayer is established after the imam's greeting, and he does not prostrate for forgetfulness even if he sits for three (seconds); because he did not forget, and God knows best.
