What is the ruling on a fasting person who vomited less than a mouthful and then induced vomiting?
Answer
His fast is not invalidated, and this is the correct view; because it is not considered exiting. A mouthful is considered exiting, and less than that is not considered exiting because it can be controlled. See Al-Tabyin 1: 325-326, and Radd al-Muhtar 2: 111.
