The Ruling on Changing the Implementation of a Will
A deceased person bequeathed for slaughtering and feeding, but the deceased's family slaughtered and distributed the meat raw. Are they sinful?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: It is obligatory to provide the value of what was bequeathed from one-third of the estate, and it is not necessary to adhere to the exact manner desired by the deceased. As long as they have slaughtered as requested, they may feed or distribute it, and Allah knows best.
