The Ruling on Following a Fatwa from a School of Thought I Do Not Adhere To
As a Shafi'i, I want to take some fatwas from the Hanafi school. Is this permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: It is preferable for someone in her situation to adhere to the Hanafi school if it is easier and more convenient for her life, and not to allow herself to fall into the realm of desire by choosing as she wishes. And God knows best.
