The Ruling on Gifts to Non-Heirs
Is it permissible for a person to gift to non-ancestors and descendants before their death, in order to ensure their sufficiency from hunger after their death?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: A person has the freedom to manage their wealth as they wish in their life, but they should only spend it in ways that are good and beneficial for Muslims. It is permissible to give to those who are not heirs. And God knows best.
