The Ruling on Giving the Mother Her Share of Inheritance to One of the Children
A woman’s husband passed away, and the inheritance was distributed between her and her children, but her share is not enough to buy a house for herself. She suggested to her children that whoever helps her, she would write the house in their name. The house was registered in the name of one of the children. Is her action permissible, or has the mother deprived the rest of her children?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: This is contrary to the recommendation, as it deprives the heirs of their share and causes enmity among them. And God knows best.
