Kissing that is not lewd, as well as touching and hugging, is not disliked for the fasting person who is safe from temptation. However, a lewd kiss is disliked even if one is safe from temptation. As for what was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would kiss her while he was fasting and suck her tongue," it is found in Sunan Abu Dawood 2: 311, Sunan Al-Bayhaqi Al-Kabir 4: 234, and Musnad Ahmad 123, 234. Al-Manawi said in Fath Al-Qadeer 1: 225 and Ibn Hajar in Fath Al-Bari 4: 153: Its chain is weak. Even if it is authentic, it is understood in the context of not swallowing the saliva that mixed with hers.
