The Ruling on Paying Value in Zakat
Is it permissible to give zakat in non-monetary forms, such as providing toys or similar items for poor children instead of money?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to purchase for them from the zakat money anything that can be beneficial, and God knows best.
