The Ruling on Paying Zakat in Value
Is it permissible to buy Eid clothes for poor children as a gift from me to my brother's children, while in reality, it is my Zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Zakat can be given to him without informing him, and it is permissible to give it in the form of clothing, food, or otherwise, and God knows best.
