The Ruling on Praying Two Rak'ahs After Ablution and Ghusl
Is it obligatory for someone who has performed Ghusl from Janabah or otherwise to pray two Rak'ahs, or are the two Rak'ahs after Ghusl considered Sunnah?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not obligatory to pray two rak'ahs after washing or ablution; rather, it is among the recommended acts after purification, and God knows best.
