The Ruling on Reciting the Quran and Passing It Over the Heart for a Menstruating Woman
I have memorized the Quran by heart, is it permissible for me to recite it during my menstrual days? And is it permissible to learn it and review it on a mobile phone?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to utter the Quran during menstruation, but it is permissible to pass it over the heart and mind. It is not permissible to touch the phone while opening the Quran on it unless it has a cover that can be removed, in which case one can learn from it, and God knows best.
