Why did Muhammad say: The follower reads behind the imam as a precaution, what does precaution mean?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: reading behind the imam is not considered valid in the school of thought, and it is a weak narration from Muhammad, so it should not be taken into account. It is safer to adhere to what the school has established, as mentioned by Ibn al-Humam. And God knows best.
