The separation between the words of the Iqamah with a pause like the Adhan
Why is it not recommended to separate between the words of the Iqamah with a pause like the Adhan?
Answer
The words of the iqamah are not separated but rather made into one statement; because the announcement required from the adhan cannot be achieved without separation, while what is required from the iqamah can be achieved without it. See: Fath Bab al-'Inayah 1: 202.
