There was a lion between him and the water, then it went away
What is the ruling for someone who began to pray while performing tayammum due to the presence of a lion preventing him from reaching the water, and then the lion left while he was in prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: His tayammum is invalid, and he should perform ablution and repeat the prayer; because the ability to access water nullifies tayammum even if he is in prayer.
