Fasting during Ramadan is invalidated; because the intention of specifying in voluntary fasting is void, and the original intention remains, so it is as if he intended to make up for Ramadan and to fast in general. This intention counts for making up, and similarly, if he intended both voluntary fasting and making up, as mentioned in Bada'i' al-Sana'i' 2: 84.
