Wiping for One Whose Foot Was Cut Off Above the Ankle
Is it permissible for someone whose foot was cut off above the ankle to wipe over his remaining sock?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible for him to wipe over the remaining sock, as long as it meets the conditions for wiping; because the foot that is amputated above the ankle does not require washing, and if he wipes over the other foot, he has not combined washing and wiping, so it is permissible.
