Wiping with the Back of the Hand
What is the ruling on someone who wipes over their socks with the back of the hand?
Answer
I say, with Allah's guidance: It is permissible to wipe, but it goes against the Sunnah; because the Sunnah is to wipe with the palm. Refer to: Sharh al-Wiqayah, p. 114. And Allah knows best.
