Es decir, decir lo mismo que dice el muecín; de Abu Said, que Allah esté complacido con él, dijo el Profeta ﷺ: ((Cuando escuchéis la llamada, decid lo mismo que dice el muecín)), en Sahih al-Bujari 1: 221, y Sahih Muslim 1: 288, excepto en su dicho: Hayya 'ala al-salah, Hayya 'ala al-falah; en su lugar, se dice: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah al-Ali al-Azim; porque repetir eso se asemeja a la imitación y burla, y también cuando el muecín dice: Al-salatu khayrun min al-nawm; el oyente no lo repite, sino que dice: Sadaqta wa bararta, o algo por lo que se le recompense; de Umar, que Allah esté complacido con él, dijo el Profeta ﷺ: ((Cuando el muecín dice: Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, y uno de vosotros dice: Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, luego dice: Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, dice: Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, luego dice: Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasul Allah, dice: Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasul Allah, luego dice: Hayya 'ala al-salah, dice: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah, luego dice: Hayya 'ala al-falah, dice: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah, luego dice: Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, dice: Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, luego dice: La ilaha illa Allah, dice: La ilaha illa Allah desde su corazón, entrará al paraíso)), en Sahih Muslim 1: 289.
