Question
A husband sacrificed on behalf of himself, his wife, and his children, but he took the sheep and slaughtered it at his brothers' place, who sacrificed another sheep. He spoke to her wanting to bring her some meat, but she swore that no meat would enter her house, so he did not bring anything for his wife and children from the meat and distributed it instead. Is he sinful for slaughtering outside the house, and is he sinful for not feeding his wife and children from the meat of the sacrifice?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is recommended for him to consider the feelings of his children and wife so that they can experience the joy of Eid and the sacrifice. He should fear sin if he is stubborn in this matter and does not take their situation into account. And God knows best.
