Paying Zakat for Marriage Expenses
A young man close to us intends to get married. He is employed and has a salary, and he has paid the bride's dowry. He is required to marry in the summer and needs money to complete the house furnishings and other marriage expenses. Is it permissible for him to receive Zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If he does not possess an amount of 100 grams of gold, it is permissible to pay him.
